 We would like to inform you that our recent paper has been published online in the International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology (IJSEM) since February 16, 2021. Author names and title are as follows: Title : Desulfovibrio subterraneus sp. nov., a mesophilic sulfate-reducing deltaproteobacterium isolated from a deep siliceous mudstone formation Authors : Akio Ueno, Satoshi Tamazawa, Shuji Tamamura, Takuma Murakami, Tamotsu Kiyama, Hidenori Inomata, Yuki Amano, Kazuya Miyakawa, Hideyuki Tamaki, Takeshi Naganuma and Katsuhiko Kaneko https://doi.org/10.1099/ijsem.0.004683 Brief contents of the paper (1) A novel sulfate-reducing bacterium (SRB) was obtained from the terrestrial deep subsurface environment in Horonobe, the northernmost part of Hokkaido, JAPAN. (2) A novel species Desulfovibrio subterraneus sp. nov. with the type strain HN2T was proposed. (3) This SRB was found to utilize iron oxide, manganese oxide and humic substances analogue as well as sulfate as terminal electron acceptors.
